    Jean-Pierre Sauvé (1945-)

    "Jean-Pierre Sauvé was born in Montreal (Quebec), in 1945. A graduate in arts from St-Laurent College in Ville-St-Laurent, he pursued studies in anthropology at the University of Montreal.

    Jean-Pierre Sauvé has been working in engraving (etching and collagraphy) for many years. Eager for experimentation, he innovates by pushing further the limits of traditional engraving techniques.

    Founding member of Atelier Circulaire, he worked there for several years. He lives and works in Montreal."
